![]() ![]() 4 are Gens Ace 2s 40c 5000mah with a charge rate up to 5c. I definately like the features of the TP chargers and it charges a little faster that my Hyperion. Lipos have to be the same cell counts to be parallel charged and need to be at close to same voltage prior to connecting them together, they alos need to be close to the same capacity (mah) and ideally, the same C rate (discharge rating, not C as in charge rate). Thanks for the great info. Parallel charging is pretty simple these days with things like Paraboards out there, your charger has to have the necessary power and you have to know how to set charger up, but its fairly straight forward. You lipos have to be rated for the higher charge rates and your charger and power supply have to be able to deliver the required power. Charging at 2C won't quite cut the time in half due to the way lipos charge (CC/CV deal), 3C charge will cut time by more than half and charge time decrease more and the C rate goes higher. At 1C charge rate (charging C rate is capacity/1000, so a 5000mah lipo, 1C = 5amps) a 50watt or a 1000watt charger will both take approx 1hr to recharge a discharged lipo. The only thing that cuts charge time for lipo is to charge at higher charge rate. Lipos have to be the same cell counts to be parallel charged and need to be at close to same voltage prior to connecting them together, they alos need to be close to the same capacity (mah) and ideally, the same C rate (discharge rating, not C as in charge rate). ![]() Your 80watt TP charger doesn't have this limitation, so you should be able to charge at 1C an experience charges as fast as any charger can complete while charging at 1C. Your 0606i is a 5amp 50watt charger, so with your 60000mah lipos it could not charge at 1C - but it was the max amps limit of the charger that did this, not the 50watts. ![]() How long will it take to charge a 2s 60c 6000mah lipo on a Junsi icharger 106b vs a 50w charger?.The only thing that cuts charge time for lipo is to charge at higher charge rate. ![]()
